When Miyo reaches marriageable age, her family arranges for her to marry Kiyoka Kudou, a fierce army commander known for his cold and ruthless demeanour. Rumour has it his previous fiancées ran away within days.

Miyo expects a miserable life, but things take a surprising turn. Kiyoka isn’t the cruel man she was told about. As they spend time together, Miyo slowly finds happiness and even begins to awaken powers she never knew she had. The two grow closer, and what starts as an unwanted match turns into a story of love, healing, and second chances.
