Bigg Boss OTT is returning with a new season and a new host. The teaser for the second season of the show was released on Tuesday. It featured Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who will be hosting the show. The first season of Bigg Boss OTT was hosted by Karan Johar, and Divya Agarwal lifted the trophy.

In the teaser, Salman in his peculiar style, announced that this time the contestants will have a hard time in the Bigg Boss house. He also hinted at the audience’s participation in the show. The actor, dressed in a white t-shirt and blazer, shook a leg in the promo with other dancers and did a decent job at it.

“Everyone’s favourite @beingsalmankhan is all set to bring back India’s biggest reality show, Bigg Boss to OTT! Aur iss baar, lagayenge bhi aap aur bachayenge bhi aap,” read the caption of the teaser.

Salman Khan, who has been hosting Bigg Boss for the past thirteen seasons, has been a favourite of the fans. He has been on top of his game when it comes to being witty and sassy while hosting the most controversial show on television. The amount of drama and excitement he creates in the ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’ episodes is unmatchable and his seamless connection with the audience doesn’t let the show get monotonous. Now, it remains to be seen how will he reinvent himself for the OTT version of the show.

The contestants of Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 are yet to be announced officially. Meanwhile, a few names like Jiya Shanker, Munawar Faruqui, Shivam Sharma, Umar Riaz, and Awez Darbar are being speculated to be part of the show.

Bigg Boss OTT 2, like its previous season, will run for six weeks, and will have close to 10 celebrities locked inside the house. Last season, three finalists from Bigg Boss OTT Shamita Shetty, Pratik Sehajpal and Nishant Bhat were given a chance to be in the main show (Bigg Boss 15).

The show will stream on JioCinema and Voot Select from June 17.
