Prime Video is poised to make a significant impact at the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI), showcasing a stellar lineup of Indian narratives, premieres, and performances. This engagement underscores its dedication to enriching the cinematic landscape with diverse and compelling storytelling. The festival will see the world premiere of the Telugu Original series “The Rana Daggubati Show,” the Asia premiere of “The Mehta Boys,” and a dynamic closing ceremony performance by the cast of “Bandish Bandits Season 2.” Moreover, Prime Video will contribute to IFFI’s Knowledge Series, offering valuable insights into the intricacies of content creation and development.

Scheduled for a global release on Prime Video on November 23, “The Rana Daggubati Show” promises to provide an intimate look into the lives of celebrated personalities. Rana Daggubati, both the executive producer and host, will engage with stars like Dulquer Salmaan and Naga Chaitanya Akkineni, among others, in candid conversations revealing their personal anecdotes and lesser-known facts. This unscripted series, making its debut on November 21, aims to showcase the lighter and more relatable sides of celebrities, with new episodes airing every Saturday, reaching audiences in India and over 240 countries worldwide.

Adding to the festival’s allure, “The Mehta Boys” is set for its Asia premiere on November 25. Directed by Boman Irani, this acclaimed film delves into the nuanced dynamics of a father-son duo trapped together for 48 hours. It offers a poignant narrative filled with emotional depth, following its recognition as the Best Feature Film at the 15th Chicago South Asian Film Festival. Boman Irani, alongside Avinash Tiwary and Shreya Chaudhry from the distinguished cast, will grace the premiere, highlighting the film’s international success.

As part of its engagement at IFFI, Prime Video is also set to participate in the Film Bazaar’s Knowledge Series.
