This psychological drama delves into the tumultuous relationship between two half-sisters, Juhi and Rhea, portrayed by Huma Qureshi and Avantika Dassani, respectively. Their story is a harrowing one of revenge and retribution, set against the backdrop of familial ties. Directed by Kapil Sharma and produced by Applause Entertainment in collaboration with Rose Audio Visual Production, the series boasts an impressive cast, including Naveen Kasturia, Rajit Kapoor, and Indraneil Sengupta, among others. The show is scheduled to premiere this Diwali, adding to the festive celebrations.
The narrative of ‘Mithya – The Darker Chapter’ is intensified by the rivalry between Juhi and Rhea. Juhi, who revels in the success of her book “Dhund,” is suddenly accused of plagiarism by a mysterious writer, Amit Chaudhary, played by Naveen Kasturia. On the other hand, Rhea’s relentless pursuit of her father’s affection morphs into a dangerous game of manipulation and vengeance. Adding depth to the plot, the introduction of Amit Chaudhary’s character injects further drama, making ‘Mithya – The Darker Chapter’ a compelling watch.
