Asur 2 trailer: Arshad Warsi and Barun Sobti face fresh challenges in the hunt for a serial killer

The web series Asur, which debuted right before the pandemic, stunned audiences with its gripping plot. Now, after three long years of anticipation, the makers are finally set to release Asur Season 2 on June 1. Helmed by Oni Sen, Asur 2 stars Arshad Warsi, Barun Sobti, Ridhi Dogra, Anupriya Goenka, Amey Wagh, Meiyang Chang and Gaurav Arora.
This time, the series takes a thrilling leap forward, as the serial killer embraces digital warfare. In the new trailer, Arshad and Barun face fresh challenges as the killer takes his deadly game to the digital world.
The official trailer for the upcoming season was unveiled on Friday, leaving fans excited. One of the fans commented, “Can we all just appreciate the content this man and his crew makes it’s just a masterpiece imagine what’s he’s gonna be doing in the future.” Another wrote, “Fans were waiting for season 2 for eternity. One of the best Hindi thriller web series ever made with some terrific performances by the actors especially the underrated Arshad Warsi.”
The synopsis of Asur 2 reads, “The devastating events of Season 1 take a heavy toll on everyone involved in the hunt for Asur. Season 2 chronicles the rise of the dark side and continues the high-octane chase as the CBI is racing against time to gather evidence and hunt down the serial killer.“
Talking about the show, Arshad Warsi said in a statement, “Asur is very special to me. The journey has been fabulous, personally and cinematically. It was overwhelming to see the love that poured in for the show and we as a team had been as eager as the audience was for the release of the second season.
